All skill levels are welcome.

We have guest coaches Joy Collision and Dolly Rocket from Charm City, Baltimore, and will be having 2 days of skating drills, scrimmaging and a public bout.

Joy Collision is a fast and agile Jammer, while Dolly Rocket is a formidable Pivot and Blocker – the two of them form a feared combination. Joy and Dolly will be teaching advanced strategy and derby skating skills to help us develop our abilities and game play.

All skaters will be able to participate in drills suitable for their skill level, and Advanced skaters will be drafted to teams captained by Joy and Dolly in a friendly bout that will be open to the public.

Stadium 34 in Moe are building a second rink out the back of the huge main rink, and there will be more than enough space to accommodate separate training spaces for different skill levels.

Cost will be $150, and will cover your accommodation for Saturday night, food, shuttle bus to and from Rawson’s Village, contribution to our guest coaches’ travel expenses and rink hire charge.

For skaters who wish to arrive in Moe on the Friday we’ll be having off skates stretching and fitness as well as the opportunity to watch bout footage with Joy and Dolly and have aspects of strategy explained. Friday night’s accommodation will be an extra charge.
